History
Leader2Leader was first known as the Northwest Arkansas High School Leadership Conference. The conference began five years ago with only one school and seven students in attendance. With a partnership with John Brown University the conference was able to quickly grow and expand to high schools spanning all of Northwest Arkansas. The most recent conference drew more than 250 student leaders from 12 high schools in the area. Each year ethical situations and leadership concepts are presented by speakers such as Stephen Young and Pat Richie.
The Northwest Arkansas High School Leadership Conference has quickly developed into a recognized organization. The conference has grown to become a 501c3 nonprofit organization, reaching more students and offering more services. Leader2Leader hopes to continue to encourage and challenge student leaders throughout the state of Arkansas.
